About E. Nina Rothe
Born in Florence, Italy, Nina moved to the US as a teenager. She comes from a family of writers and artists, all gypsies at heart. Interspersed with her trips around the world, she studied musical theater at New York University and took a year-long acting program at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, under the supervision of Sanford Meisner. But shortly thereafter, Nina recognized that being in front of the camera really didn't interest her. A trip to India in 1999 changed her life and from then on, her dreams, life and thoughts became brightly colored and piquant. Three years ago, she met a man she believed to be her Prince Charming on the NYC subway. After a year and a half together, Nina realized he was more court jester material than royalty, and kicked him out of the apartment they shared in Los Angeles. She is now back in NYC, possibly the only place on earth where it is much harder to be married than single. Cocktail parties conversations are complicated for Nina, because when asked "What do you do?" it is quite time consuming to list it all. Shoe model - the perfect job for any woman - property owner, writer, daughter, friend...
Nina has just completed her first non-fiction book "Happily Unmarried Ever After - a Real Life Fairy Tale for the Modern Woman" and publishes her own weekly adventures and advice blog."
